Bomb Threat
1. Occupancy of the the Shopping Centre
Visitors and employees are located throughout different areas of the shopping centre, including retail stores, restaurants, corridors, and common areas. Daily operations and customer movement continue as normal.
2. Receipt of a Bomb Threat
The security team receives a report of a possible explosive device inside the facility. The information is immediately forwarded to the designated responsible personnel in accordance with predefined security procedures. The evacuation manager notifies the relevant emergency services.
3. Evacuation Activation
Following coordination with the police and an assessment of the situation, an evacuation of the facility is initiated.
To prevent panic among visitors, a standard evacuation notification is activated rather than communicating the nature of the threat. Users are instructed to leave the facility calmly and in an orderly manner.
4. Digital Guidance
The application automatically sends an evacuation alert to all users. Visitors and employees receive clear visual and audio instructions and are guided to the nearest and safest exit route. Throughout the evacuation process, support is provided by the evacuation manager and designated personnel on site.
5. Safe Assembly Area
After leaving the facility, visitors and employees proceed to the designated assembly point. The application confirms the successful completion of the evacuation, while the evacuation manager, with the help of camera-based people counting technology, has real-time visibility of the number of evacuated individuals and an estimate of the number of people who may still remain inside the facility.
